A recent Bloomberg article highlighted the expectations of wealthy folks to live life to 100. And not just make it to 100 but get there healthy.
The article mentions the activities that wealthy people are regularly doing - yoga, pilates, meditation and things like that. This all sounds wonderful and all but what I wonder is, what will you do with all of that extra time? If we actually believe we will have a much longer time on this earth, I want to ask 3 questions:
How does living that much longer affect how you view your career?
how does it affect how you view your role in your family?
How does this affect how you view your ability to impact your community?
With 20 more years of living time than we might normally expect, we could have much more of an impact in our world both in our family, and in our surrounding community.
If you work with me, I will want to know what is important to you, and what your goals are, so that your money is best positioned to help make sure that if you want to make a longer impact, you will be able to and that your money planning will be aligned with your goals and most important values.
Do you think you will live to 100+? And have you thought how this might change your potential impact on your world?
